Dave Martin has ten years of experience in project management, project controls, and design for complex industrial and civil projects, with an extensive background in providing management support, project controls, document management, planning, and other project management services.

Dave has been one of SMA’s key project management support resources on the Valley Line Southeast LRT and has actively contributed to other projects, including transportation projects for the Province of Alberta. His areas of expertise include project controls, schedule analysis, construction management, reliability and failure analysis, and facilitation.

Dave’s facility with understanding and communicating complex information combined with meticulous attention to detail makes him an essential member of the team. Dave also leverages his software development background to support automation and data management on large projects and has contributed to development of project controls methodologies at SMA. His work has resulted in co-authorship on a journal paper, as well as multiple whitepapers.
