Over the course of his career, Ryan has been involved with complex and challenging projects in the Alberta Capital Region, including managing several LRT Renewal projects on the original Capital Line. He joined SMA in 2021 and completed a Master’s in Engineering Management in the same year.

Prior to SMA, Ryan provided project management services for a large general contractor, gaining a deep understanding of construction methods, processes, and coordination.

At SMA, Ryan has been primarily focused on tasks related to the Capital Line Extension. His skillset, informed by his previous work on the City’s LRT and other capital projects, also includes project management plan development, risk management, integrated cost and schedule risk analysis modeling, change management, and delivery method analysis. Ryan is a registered Professional Engineer with APEGA.
