Dr. Salam Khalife has over ten years of diverse international experience in design, construction, and project management. Her expertise includes preparing feasibility studies, defining project requirements and functional programs, managing permit preparation and submissions, coordinating multi-disciplinary design documentation, and implementing project planning and control practices to ensure efficient project delivery. At SMA, Salam provides support in project controls, risk management, and partnering workshops on capital projects across Alberta.

Salam holds a PhD in Construction Engineering and Management from the University of Alberta. Her research contributions span over diverse topics in engineering and project management, including collaborative design and construction, integrated project delivery methods, value management and value alignment, stakeholder engagement, lean construction, and contract administration.  Salam has published over 25 journal and conference papers and has received academic awards, including the Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship and the Ledcor Graduate Scholarship in Construction Engineering and Management.
