Jonathan Alexandruk brings a wealth of expertise in technical engineering, project management, and dispute preparedness to SMA and has applied this knowledge to support project controls, risk assessment, and cost estimate review service delivery. Jonathan’s strong background in construction claims is leveraged in his current position as SMA’s Senior Claims Specialist, where he provides proactive claims preparedness and support services, including project controls and engagement. With 30 years’ experience as both a contractor and a construction consultant, Jonathan has worked as a project manager on a variety of construction projects, ranging from new industrial facilities and major civil works to commercial renovations and institutional developments.

Jonathan is knowledgeable in dispute resolution management, construction planning, project document development, cost damages analysis, project controls, schedule analysis, and schedule management. He has assisted in claims preparation, in addition to dispute and litigation support, during all phases of major civil engineering, building, industrial, and commercial projects. Jonathan is currently working on the City of Edmonton’s Valley Line Southeast as part of the claims management team. He is also providing project controls, scheduling, and claim mitigation and avoidance support on the Valley Line West project.
