Karoline Nguyen, BSc, E.I.T. holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Co-op from the University of Alberta and is currently pursuing an MSc in Civil Engineering at the same institution. As a key member of the SMA team, Karoline’s expertise includes risk analysis and management, project controls, simulation modeling, reporting, and workshop facilitation. She has been instrumental in SMA’s LRT risk management services, actively contributing to the development and execution of risk management programs for both the Valley Line West LRT and the Capital Line South Extension LRT. Karoline has also supported SMA’s drainage projects as an analyst and designer, focusing on design of underground tunnel support systems. She excels at building strong working relationships and fostering open collaboration among diverse teams and stakeholders. Her ability to comprehend and articulate complex information, combined with her meticulous attention to detail, makes her a valuable asset.
