Recent adventures in research: Quantifying uncertainty in simulation modeling

We are proud to announce the recent publication of a paper written by SMA’s very own Jace Thibault and Dr. Simaan AbouRizk in the Proceedings of International Structural Engineering and Construction (ISEC). The article, “Quantifying Uncertainty in Simulation Modeling,” explains the various types of uncertainty found in simulation models and examines where uncertainty can be better represented or potentially reduced.

The proceedings stem from the forthcoming European and Mediterranean Structural Engineering and Construction Conference (EURO-MED-SEC-3), which will be held virtually and in-person in Cyprus from August 3-8, 2020.
